General technical characteristics of the Lamellar parquet

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION: The lamellar parquet panel is made up of a number of fields erected vertically to each other. (EN 13226)

The field consists of a certain number of lamellas of the same dimensions, lined with edges across the width of one another. The lamellas are the basic element made of solid wood.

Species of wood: To create a lamella the following species of wood are used - oak - ash - beech

- other types of wood to customer specification.

TREATMENT: All surfaces of the parquet lamella must be smooth and opposite sides parallel with sharp edges. Upper, lateral sides and fronts must have sharp edges and be at right angles.

Humidity: Operating Humidity is 9 ± 2% in relation to absolutely dry wood. It is checked by calibrated electric hygrometer on the principle of random sampling.

TYPES OF CONNECTION

MEASURES: lamellas are manufactured in the following dimensions:

- Thickness 8 mm; - Width 16 - 25 mm; - Length 120 and 160 mm

GRADING:

Oak:

The oak panels are classified into:

- extra class, in which the color should be uniform and flat structure

- a standard class, in which the medium color difference is allowed, as well as the coarse structure in all cross-sections, as well the presence of sapwood

- Rustic class, in which a big difference in color is allowed and as well as the coarse structure in all cross-sections and unlimited presence of sapwood and flaws.

Ash and beech:

Ash and beech boards are classified into:

-Standard-class, in which the medium color difference is allowed as well as the healthy light brown core in traces and the coarse structure is not allowed.

- rustic class, a great difference in color is allowed, as well as the rough structure in all cross-sections and the unlimited presence of the healthy dark core.
